Chapter 1401: Silent Entry II
They climb at the wooden staircase that lead to a wooden door, Fargo exchange glance with Lory, his expression asked if she was ready, Lory give a firm nod.
Fargo gripped the cold handle, then slowly twisted it without making a sound. He pushed the door slightly, soon as the door creaked open, they heard a muffled sound of people chatting not far from them.
Fortunately, their suit was enhanced with camouflage charm, so as long as they keep silence, no one would notice they were there. Fargo moved silently behind the shadows of the cabinet and brick wall while crouching to minimize his large bod,y while Lory followed from behind in the same vigilance.
Suddenly they smelled the aroma, of burning meat, spices, and the sweetness permeated to the air and then they heard the sounds of the knife cut on the cupboard mixed with people shouting and rapid footsteps as if everyone was in a hurry. Fargo and Lory then realized that they were in the kitchen.
Although no soldiers are on guard in the place like this but the risk to face unexpected encounter is still high not to mention there are surveilance camera hanging on various point, though the camera wouldn’t catch them but the risk they make accidently stumble to one of the chef is still there and they cannot riked to be caught.
Lory look at Fargo with the look asking: what they should do know? Fargo pondered a few seconds, then he whispered to Lory ear "When I gave you a sign, running to that door and wait for me!"
"What sign?" Lory Frown.
Fargo grinned "You’ll know it"
"What—"
Fargo already slip to one of the kitchen counter before Lory could ask further.
Gritting her teeth, Lory turned her gaze to the double door which aproximately about five to six meters from her but there were too many people around thus if she not careful people might nootice something is off and they might called the security to check.
