Chapter 1392: The First Road Trip II
The journey to Dove Island takes five hours and from there Lory and Fargo will take a train to Oxville and from there they will take a plane, this is done to avoid the attention of the enemy because they tend to keep an eye on people coming from Harland regardless of their nationality, because everyone knows it is easy to forge, meanwhile, Zhao Li Xin and Leon will use a speedboat to cross to Dove island.
After a long journey of five hours, they finally arrived at a small town called White Pearl which is famous for its beautiful beaches and charming coral reefs, attracting many divers from various cities. Unfortunately, due to the lack of infrastructure around this place, not many tourists come.
On the cabin porch, Lory sat on the couch with Zhao Li Xin while enjoying the view of the golden sunset as the sky was colored with shades of pink and purple.
Zhao Li Xin wrapped his arms around Lory’s waist while she rested her head on Zhao Li Xin’s chest. Knowing that they would be apart for a few weeks or months, Lory didn’t want to waste a single second of the time she could spend with Zhao Li Xin.
"I miss Girsha," Lory murmured.
Zhao Li Xin hugged her tighter and softly kissed the top of her head. "We will get her out of there soon."
Zhao Li Xin was not a person who liked to spew empty words. Gradually, the anxiety in her heart subsided, even though Lory still didn’t know how to save Girsha, but she believed that together they would figure something out.
"I hope so," Lory rest her cheek on Zhao Li Xin broad chest.
Zhao Li Xin lifted her chin with his index finger and looked deeply into her eyes. "Trust me, there is a way out, and we will not stop until we find it."
His determination made Lory’s spirit rise again. Soon, a smile spread across her face. "You’re right, we must not give up!" Lory clenched her fist in the air.
"That’s the spirit." Zhao Li Xin kissed the land on Lory’s lips, and they were kissing under the golden sunlight.
