Chapter 1369: Precious Memories
The test was successful but there was still a lot of work to be done to perfect the device before it was released to the public. But there was something else and Lory gathered upstairs with Zhao Li Xin, Fargo, Leon, Ethan, and Thomas Ackerson to discuss another problem, the Mana Detterent Device also called MADD.
Fargo sat on the main chair since he got the higher authority in this room since Lory hides her identity.
"So how is Victor Kross now?" Fargo opened the discussion.
Ethan, who was given the responsibility, answered: "After blocking MADD’s connection network to the center, we performed a five-hour operation until we were finally able to remove the device from Victor Kross’ head."
"What do you mean blocking the network to the center?" Leon was confused.
"I mean this device has a control center that after we tracked it, turned out to be in Luxemborough, but where exactly we still don’t know and we don’t dare to try further because we’re afraid of being discovered by the enemy," Ethan explained.
"Are you sure the enemy still doesn’t know we took MADD from Victor?" Fargo asked for confirmation.
Ethan nodded firmly. "Sure, we were very careful not to disrupt the signal system on the device, but the downside is that we can’t disassemble the device because we’re afraid the device center will find out," Ethan said regretfully.
"What about the World Guild Association, can Victor confirm how many people have been planted with this device?" Fargo’s expression hardened.
"Victor can’t say for sure, but he said at least twenty of his members have been planted with MADD, including those closest to him." Ethan’s voice etched with concern.
"What about the traitor in the WGA, has Victor been able to find out who it is?" Lory asked.
