’Where am I?’
That’s what crosses my mind every time I open my eyes ever since she was gone. For as long as I can remember, she’s always been a part of my life.
She has always been the one who knows me best, even better than I know myself. I can always count on her no matter how hard the situation was and whenever I turn around, she will always be by my side, never too far away.

A childish voice came out of nowhere, startling me until I reflexively turned my body. In the darkness, I saw a mass of dark grey smoke gather and slowly merge and form into a silhouette of a little boy. The faceless shadow steps or rather floats towards me.
My instincts told me this thing was dangerous so I took a step back. ’Who are you?’ I asked warily.
’I know how you felt, I feel lonely too...’ the boy sounded innocent almost angelic but I knew better.
