Chapter 1325: The Convalescent
The touching moment only lasted for two seconds when Fargo burst into the room with long strides and shouted loudly, "Yo, show me what you brought that you said could save Luc?"
"And...the moment is over," Jay chuckles at how familiar this feels like.
Fargo felt the strange atmosphere inside the room, instantaneously his protective nature kicked in. Fargo rushed towards Lucas’ sleeping pod to check his condition, first, he checked Lucas’s body after that he carefully checked the body monitoring system one by one only after he was sure there was nothing out of the ordinary with Lucas, did he let out a sigh of relief.
All of a sudden he heard a small giggle, "You’re already so old but you’re still so noisy, stupid Fargy!" she huffed.
The familiar voice caused his whole body to become rigid and for a few seconds he was unable to move, it was then his eyes caught the reflection of a woman with wavy bluish hair from the glass surface, and his lips quivered, he wanted to say something but the words seem caught on his throat, only after so much struggle he managed to lift his gaze in slow motion.
"Lor..." Fargo gaped, his eyes widened in disbelief.
"Hi," Lory grinned.
The next thing happened Fargo roared at the top of his lungs "IMPOSTER!" Fargo was about to lunge at Lory.
Zhao Li Xin’s eyes darkened but Lory shook her head and smiled calmly, indicating that she could handle this.
"You stupid musclehead!" Fred pushed Fargo away and then quickly pulled Lory behind him in a protective manner.
Fury boiled inside him like boiling lava, he couldn’t believe someone dared to use Lory’s face to trick them, even worse, he thought Fred had fallen for this cheap trick, "Move aside Fred, this girl can’t be Lory, this is the enemy’s trick! How dare they use Lory’s face, this is unforgivable!"
