Chapter 1321: Homecoming II
After they finished discussing, Lory decided to go to Harland today because she didn’t want to delay Lucas’s problem any longer, only by seeing Lucas’ condition with her own eyes could Lory feel calm.
Jay and Clift agreed to return immediately considering Lucas was in a dire state and Lory might be the only one who could help him, unfortunately, it took about an hour or so to arrange their departure because they had to prepare a safe route to avoid enemy attention.
In the meantime, Lory was having a conversation with Hadius about weapon and armor preparation for Garrof and the others on their mission, while amid the discussion Lory noticed from the corner of her eye Lilly standing nearby seemingly waiting for her
After finishing the conversation with Hadius, Lory walked towards Lilly, "Hi Lilly, are you waiting for me?"
Lilly smiled nervously, Lilly placed her palm on her right chest and bent her knees as gracefully as possible to greet Lory. Lory was startled for a second then chuckled at how stiff Lilly’s curtsy was, "You don’t have to do that" Lory took Lilly’s hand and helped her stand up.
Lilly was embarrassed, "I’m not good at this, right?"
"That’s okay, it’s not that bad" Lory didn’t discourage her effort, besides, it was quite cute.
Lilly blushed a little, since the first time they met Lory had always been kind to her and had helped her numerous times, and even after Lory revealed her identity Lory’s attitude towards her remained the same, no wonder the Harland’s citizens loved her very much, she would too. Maybe she should change her nationality after everything was over, it doesn’t sound like a bad idea.
Lory felt Lilly had something to say, "Do you need anything from me, Lilly? Just tell me, we are friends after all"
Lily raised her gaze and paused for a moment, mesmerized by a pair of beautiful, sparkling purple eyes staring back at her.
"Lilly?" Lory softly calls her.
