The room was filled with pin-drop silence and everyone froze in their places, they didn’t even dare to breathe too loudly. Lory gripped the armrest of the chair, although she knew the Black Dragon’s escape had something to do with Lazarus but she never knew the details, but now she wondered.
"Do you think the healing power used to break the cage, you think that possible?" Lory couldn’t imagine someone being able to break Lucient’s barrier.
"Maybe not completely, but maybe it’s part of an attempt to break Lucient’s seal?" The truth is Clift had his hypothesis but he hesitated to say it in front of all these people because it concerned Lory’s secret.
Having a tacit understanding with Clift, Jay smoothly changed the subject "It’s just a hypothesis, we cannot conclude anything yet. If only we could find the healer or anyone involved in the incident who is still alive, we would be able to know more..."
Clift also expressed his regret, "Unfortunately, Mr. Hubert said that no one returned from the town of Black Hill except Dragxtarn and the people who worked for Luxemborough, and even then we have no clear data on the people involved in the incident."
Jay pondered for a few seconds then something came up in his mind "What about Samuel Albrecht? he seemed to know about the seed of life, so if we can interrogate him we might find the clue about what had happened in the past, and in the present since everything connected to this thing called the seed of life"
"Well, I agree with Mr.Thorberry, we might be able to find him, after all, he still owed me" Garrof rubbed his fist with a big grin.
"Okay, I will send Noxcra agent to work with you, just call us if you need anything," Clift said.
Garrof instantly got excited to work with the elusive Noxcra’s agent "Sure, I’m gonna give you my number!"
Clift raised his hand "No need, we already got your numbers and everyone in your group, we will call you"
Lydia raised her hand nervously "Is that including mine?"
