Chapter 1471: Sylph’s Garden
Walking into the grand and golden garden of Sylph, the first thing Arad noticed was that it wasn’t a castle or a mansion, not even a city; it was just a regular garden of ancient golden trees, vibrant emerald grass, mega-fauna, and a sea of flowers and roses growing everywhere.
Sylph lived in this garden, the trees formed rooms, and the grass was the carpet. Just reaching up, the branches themselves bent down with a fresh batch of fruits.
Looking into the distance, Arad could see one massive wooden throne that was almost as big as a castle. Beside it was a branch, a branch with so much power that Arad couldn’t even be wrong about its identity, that was the highest tip of the World Tree.
As they got inside, they heard the sound of something crunching with vibrant red liquid splashing all over the place. Some thought it was blood, but Arad couldn’t be fooled. He was a vampire and knew blood too well.
A dark elf was sitting inside one of the rooms, munching on a whole melon, skin and flesh included. Sylph glared at the dark elf with a disappointed face, "I told you guests are coming, Elis."
"Isn’t it Arad! How are you, little dragon!" She waved her hand with a large smile on her melon-drenched face.
"Forget about that!" Sylph rubbed her face. "You didn’t answer me. Why are you still eating like that?"
"What’s your problem, Silly? You told me guests are coming, so I put some clothes on, good ones at that." She looked down, and her whole dress was already covered in melon juices from her neck down. "Ok, this looks a bit bad. I should’ve put on a bib!"
Arad looked at the two goddesses, and then looked back at Mathilde. She only wears thin underwear made of gold, barely hiding her private part. "I see..."
Elis turned toward him with a frown, "You must be crazy if you think I wear something like that. I’m not like those weird elves." She put the melon on the table. "I stay naked all the time, only wear clothes when other people are around."
