The system notification rang out loud, displaying the text as Steve added a full stop to the last portion of his written sentence on the author’s notebook-
[Task completed.]
He let out a sigh, as he stretched back in his bed, since he was back in his room, and muttered.
"Okay, finally. I’m done... if I can get this done, maybe I really do have a shot. A shot at becoming more powerful."
Resting on his lap was the author’s notebook—his life, written in lines and choices.
He had already stepped out earlier, ready to meet Fiona. But then the thought hit him:
’Why chase pleasure when I can complete both tasks at once?’
So he had come back, and written on the notebook-
"Player, upon completing his harem with Fiona, achieves a partial ability of the Son of Hades."
It was only a partial ability... but it was something. A path forward.
