Chapter 70: Savior
The morning sun spilled softly over the sprawling grounds of Arcane Bloom Academy, casting long, golden streaks of light across the cobblestone paths and the towering, ivy-clad walls.
As the bell tolled its resonant call, the subtle murmur of excitement rippled through the crowd of students gathered in the courtyard.
One by one, they stirred to life — the boys and girls dressed in the distinctive red coats and blue trousers of the academy’s uniform, their conversations a blend of nervous anticipation and rivalry.
Among them was Steve, stepping out from the shadow of the dormitory with an air of detached confidence.
His movements were deliberate, measured — as if the world around him held little surprise. Yet, all around, whispers began to flutter like wind through leaves.
The women—students and staff alike—stared with wide, incredulous eyes.
The guards shifted uneasily, exchanging low murmurs. Even the cleaners and gardners paused their tasks, their gaze drawn irresistibly to the figure walking boldly through the throng.
A man, yes, but more than that—a man who had somehow awakened magical power in a place where such things were rare, even revered. The rumors had already begun to weave their intricate web-
