Steve walked with quiet intent, his steps steady as he followed the familiar corridors.
To his relief, the path was easier this time—though he took a few unexpected detours, it wasn’t long before he found himself downstairs.
From there, he stepped out of the lobby, glancing around, occasionally stopping to ask passing students for directions. They pointed the way kindly, although a few where utterly dumbfounded by the sight of him- a man in the academy.
Nevertheless, eventually, he found it.
The garden.
He stopped.
Even before stepping in, he saw it beyond the closed gate—bathed in soft shadows and moonlight, framed by a wall of blooms that swayed gently in the breeze. It was beautiful.
The sight stirred something in him.
A slight deja-vu feeling.
It reminded him of that day—the day he first met the Queen Witcher.
The room back then had been filled with flowers, drenched in beauty and quiet grace, much like the scene before him now.
