Outside the Secret Technique Room stood Taiyi.
"Senior Brother!" Taiyi bowed in greeting at the sight of Jing Yan.
"What is the matter?" Jing Yan asked.
Being interrupted while studying the Secret Technique would upset anyone.
"It’s... Senior Brother Feng Chi and the others! They are outside the Nuwa Divine Palace, seeking a meeting with you, Senior Brother," Taiyi said.
Feng Chi and other Inner Sect Disciples gathered outside the Nuwa Divine Palace. Since they weren’t members of the Nuwa Divine Palace, they naturally couldn’t enter. As bold as Feng Chi and his group might be, they wouldn’t dare to intrude unauthorized into the Nuwa Divine Palace.
They waited outside the Divine Palace merely asking to meet Jing Yan, without speaking ill of him, thus not breaking the rules of the Hongjun Heavenly Palace. But everyone knew Feng Chi’s intentions.
"Meet me? Feng Chi? I don’t know him!" Jing Yan shook his head. "Outside the Nuwa Divine Palace, which means they aren’t members of it."
"Yes, Feng Chi belongs to the Niao Cheng Divine Palace. Other senior brothers from different divine palaces are also gathering outside our Nuwa Divine Palace," Taiyi said with some anger.
"I see! It’s because of my promotion to Core Disciple, isn’t it? I have no time for them, you needn’t bother either. Tell the others not to pay attention to them," Jing Yan waved dismissively.
Jing Yan couldn’t be bothered to waste time entangling with those people.
"Yes!" Taiyi replied and left.
