After refining the Prolo Pill and the Water Wood Pill, Jing Yan also took the opportunity to refine some other elixirs. Several days later, he finally came out of the Qiankun Space.
Stepping out of his room, Jing Yan saw the martial artist he had met outside the reception room of the Prince Manor the day he arrived with Mu Liantian.
This martial artist had obviously been standing guard outside Jing Yan’s room. Seeing Jing Yan emerge, he immediately approached and gave a bow. This person held no low status; even Mu Liantian had treated him with considerable politeness when they met.
"Alchemist Jing Yan, have the elixirs been successfully refined?" the martial artist asked, looking at Jing Yan.
"They have been properly refined; please take me to see the Prince," Jing Yan replied with a nod.
"Very well, follow me!" the martial artist responded.
Soon after, Jing Yan saw Zhou Shangyun, the Commandery Prince, again.
Zhou Shangyun’s eyes flashed subtly when he saw Jing Yan and then narrowed slightly.
"Jing Yan! Have you finished refining the Prolo Pill?" Zhou Shangyun asked immediately.
He had been waiting for several days and although he knew that refining elixirs took time, he couldn’t completely control his eager feelings.
Moreover, he was somewhat worried that Jing Yan might fail in his attempts to refine. The ingredients required for the Prolo Pill were not very difficult to find and although some of the ingredients were extremely rare and valuable spirit grasses, the financial power of the Prince Manor meant this was not an issue. His fear was that Jing Yan had never successfully refined a Prolo Pill before, and repeated failures could lead to total failure in the end.
After all, as Alchemist Ji Yue had said previously, the Prolo Pill was a lost elixir that even high-level alchemists in Pill Country were unable to refine.
