Victor’s Rest
With how widespread and extensive some of the damage had been, it took Edrick two weeks to recover while constantly bathing in medicinal water and covering himself in healing creams the entire time.
During this period, he received word from Ku Xing and Ting Zhenniao. They had both given birth to a healthy baby girl each… These two were Edrick’s first human Allins.
The Allina he had with Ku Xing was named Bixian, while the Allina he had with Ting Zhenniao was named Tuhli… Apparently, Edrick had gotten lucky, as–At least for now–They looked like their mothers. In the sense that they had inherited the specific eyes of the Xing and Zhenniao clan, respectively.
So, unless they grew up to have traits that were reminiscent of him… He was in the clear. No one should be able to figure out that he was the one who had fathered these girls. Well, if one were to figure out where Ku Xing–In particular–Had been nine months ago, then it might not be so difficult, actually… At least Ting Zhenniao could pin the pregnancy on her husband.
Edrick was rather curious about these offspring of his, but visiting too quickly following the births would be a little suspicious, to say the least… He could say that he was just visiting his Deuvalra when it came to Ku Xing… Nonetheless, it would be best to wait for a while.
He also received word from Lui and Zhenluo. The protagonists under their care hadn’t made any waves. The alchemist was growing rather agitated, it seemed… Edrick and Lui might have to collaborate to make him ‘calm down’... As for the good-hearted scion, he was rather easily distracted. Anoteros had written him a few letters to give him advice, and Zhenluo had been playing her part masterfully.
Thus, the noble currently had two protagonists trapped within the Elt clan, having effectively nullified the natural progress of their storylines… Which was pretty much mandatory since he hadn’t received any memory wisps to help him figure out what they would be up to otherwise. Without information, Anoteros would need to keep them under surveillance and be ready to swoop in at any given moment–But with how he was doing things, he couldn’t exactly spare much time for them.
…Keeping them pinned here was the best course of action.
Talking about surveillance, however… Shu had been tasked with keeping tabs on the third protagonist, who had received her master’s attention. Linfeng had apparently not yet done anything too crazy. He was merely growing stronger and doing everything in his power to further strengthen himself even more. He was on a mission to rush his rise to prominence so that he could rescue Fingmi.
Linfeng had not seemed like the kind to actually make such a smart decision when Anoteros had met him, so it indeed seemed like the young man was being guided by a voice of reason–Which in his case, would be a system somewhat similar to Edrick’s own.
In any case, everything was going quite smoothly. There was no news of anything noteworthy happening either, so Anoteros was free to spend time recovering.
By the end of it, he only had bandages wrapped around his abdomen. The gash that had torn open his stomach area and spilt some of his guts had–By far–Been the worst wound he had sustained during his confrontation with the Red Guardian.
‘To think that the one who inflicted this nasty injury is now my subservient maid…’
This definitely brought a smile to the scion’s face. It was most rewarding to not just defeat a powerful opponent after a difficult fight, but to make them submit completely–To make them into your property... Your plaything… It was the ultimate form of victory. It wouldn’t be the same if Anoteros had just slain the protector. There definitely would have been a great sense of victory, but then, the defender would have simply been gone.
With how Edrick had done things, he had a living, breathing trophy reminding him of his feat–A tangible prize for him to enjoy in whatever way he saw fit. It simply felt better this way.
As he wondered what exactly it was that Eltysia had in store for him–And whether or not he should be on his guard concerning her–He had Luxuli riding on his sea serpent. Her bare chest pressed up against his as she had her snow-white arms wrapped around his neck.
The demoness was planting kiss after kiss on his face as she slowly rocked her hips whilst taking her husband as deep as possible… Her tail wrapped around Edrick’s heavy pouch, tightening and loosening her grip as a form of massage, while the spade-shaped end of her tail rubbed against the large mass of the masculine sack.
Her horns had regrown to their original size by now. She had lost them a while back, but now they were ready to be oversaturated with lustful energy once more…
The residence patriarch’s wives had naturally been very attentive to their recovering husband… Each spent amorous times with him one-on-one to help him build up excess energy, which helped him heal faster.
Luxuli was the last one before the final bandages were removed, revealing a fully healed body. No scars were left from the encounter. It seemed like the wounds had been treated quickly enough for no lasting marks to remain following the successful healing.
He did not immediately jump back into the secret realm, however. He instead went to pay a visit to Fanqia.
Although the matriarch technically wasn’t that close to giving birth, it definitely looked like she was going to be popping out the babies any second from now. Her stomach had swelled as round as it could get, and by placing his palm against her belly, he could already feel a whole lot of activity in there.
It felt like she had little imps in there. Those things were kicking without rest…
By now, Fanqia was spending most of her time sitting in her rocking chair–As with her stomach so bloated, she couldn’t really do much physical activity. She also didn’t want to be interacting with all sorts of alchemical ingredients while pregnant, so she just enjoyed the sun and the outside, whilst the Simis within her were seemingly trying to break out.
Anoteros softly caressed her belly and gently kissed her on the lips. After he made sure that she was fine, he headed back into Eltysia.
There, he was immediately greeted by something unexpected as his foot sent something sliding across the ground as soon as he took a step forward.
It was a manual.
‘Huh… Is this what I think it is?’
