As the two were discussing, they heard a series of hurried footsteps echoing through the corridor.
Wu Yingfan leaned against the door frame, catching a breeze, one hand in his pocket, and the other scrolling through his phone, dangling carelessly. When several men in black suits approached him, he was a bit startled.
"Mr. Wu, our master has requested your presence."
Wu Yingfan blinked, phone still in hand, "Your master—who?"
"The organizer of tonight’s dinner."
The visitor was respectful, always bending at the waist.
Wu Yingfan stood frozen, scratching his head, "Are you sure... you’ve got the right person?"
