The Vastness of Magical Destiny

Chapter 1037: Volume 33, Where to Go, - 25, The Battle that Sways the City (8)

Stari received glances from his comrades as soon as the Knight Hilton made his move.

He took a deep breath and leaped forward first, his body wafting up under the guidance of the Water Dance Wind Technique at that moment, as his great sword whistled through the air, bringing a fierce wind. Launching an all-out attack from the onset was rare for Stari; other than his battle with the Ice Dragon still lurking nearby, he couldn’t recall anyone else requiring him to do so.

The surging might, along with the circles of light that the sword’s blade conjured, bloomed one after another, while Stari’s figure was like a hazy phantom, flickering in and out of visibility, nimbly weaving through his opponent’s shadowy spear’s force.

Simultaneously, Iris’s presence was as fleeting as a ghost, her slender stiletto gleaming with a chill light, appearing and disappearing in quick succession. The pale sword light was mostly submerged in the clash of swords between Stari and Hilton, but when it occasionally shone through, it forced the Sky-level Saint Knight to react with difficulty.

"Eh?" Caesar’s gaze shifted, noting the momentum displayed by this male and female pair seemed to overpower Hilton’s level.

Especially amidst the drifting mist, two apparition-like figures orbited Hilton, one in broad, sweeping movements, grand and unrestrained, the other delicate and cunning, flickering in and out of sight, their cooperation impeccable. The man seemed to be taking on most of Hilton’s pressure, but Caesar knew the true lethal move would certainly come from the woman—at the moment when the man burst forth to meet the fiercest resistance, that’s when the woman would be poised to thrust a fatal blow.

"Who are these two?" Caesar couldn’t help but turn to ask.

"They do not seem familiar, and their techniques do not appear to be martial arts of us mortals," Lorenzo furrowed his brows, surprised by the myriad of extraordinary characters under Komer’s command. At least the performance of these two was eye-opening; even as bystanders, the Fog-Transforming Illusion Technique looked elusive and intangible, and one could only imagine the immense pressure that one faced within.

"Hmph, it seems we might have underestimated our opponent, hopefully, we won’t have too many more such surprises," Caesar coldly remarked, making Noyola and Lorenzo feel somewhat embarrassed.

The intervention of the Jellyfish Double Respect instantly doubled the size of the battlefield, but for the vast square inside Damarlinsk Castle, this was just a corner. The fierce wind stirred more intense and exciting combat, igniting everyone’s passion; it was a battle to decide fate.

Caesar’s words made the two chiefs of the Court both feel somewhat awkward; after taking a brief breath, Lorenzo exchanged a look with Noyola, indicating it was time for the Court to act, or else it might become an irrelevant entity in Caesar’s eyes.
