Chapter 1007: Volume 32 Dark Clouds Roll In - 25 Slave Hunter Team
Between the surprise of the three slave hunters’ swordsman and crossbowman, Vladimir Koff also didn’t give them any chance. His sharp long spear, like a thunderbolt, whipped up a dark energy. Merely in two exchanges, two of the slave hunters’ swordsmen found that this expressionless fellow was so dominant. Without giving them any opportunity, their long swords were forcefully split into four pieces. The other swordsman and the crossbowman found themselves embarrassingly dodging a barrage of the fireball technique, struggling futilely before lying rolled on the ground, eventually ending up at the feet of a few Black Flame Knights who disdained to draw their swords.
Both the two dark elves and the four members of the slavery crew were slow to react, not understanding who these people emerging slowly from the bushes were. They struck mercilessly without any warning, not even giving the opportunity for questions or explanations.
Vladimir Koff’s expression remained indifferent as he smoothly returned the knight spear to its sheath, watching the few before him coldly.
It should be said that Vladimir Koff held no fondness for these fellows. Dark elves, needless to say, were the intended targets of this encounter. It was obvious that dark elves infiltrating behind the Red Tree Forest would be up to no good—spies, if not scouts.
As for the defiant-looking members of the slave hunter team, Vladimir Koff had even less regard for them. Although he wasn’t a staunch anti-slavery advocate, he abhorred the slave trade, especially those who engaged in violent abduction for slaves, which he saw as an odious defilement of life.
"State your names,"
demanded Vladimir Koff, his cold voice carrying an undeniable firmness and authority.
The two dark elves seemed to recognize this as a chance to change their fates of being captured—the identities of this group were unclear, but most certainly they were not aligned with the slave hunters. On this land but for the distant slave hunters, only the Assyrian People would possess such dominance.
