Holy Light Power surged like tumultuous tides, one wave higher than the last, toward the Dark Dam, and Uma cursed the damned Komer internally. The Light Binding was like a rope tightly binding the outlet of his Dark Origin Power, preventing him from launching a counterattack with his Dark Yuan Force at will. He could only watch helplessly as the Holy Light Power boiled within him, steadily forcing his Dark Yuan Force back.

As if sensing the diminishment of the Dark Origin Power, the Holy Light Power surged to ever higher climaxes, insolently assaulting Uma’s baseline of Dark Origin Power. Uma was on the verge of collapse. Could it be that Komer really intended to treat Iliana’s body as an experimental subject, even at the risk of destroying it?

This was too abominable. While hating and cursing Komer, Uma had no choice but to stimulate the power of his Dark Heart to combat the rising Holy Light Power. The situation had reversed—Uma had suddenly fallen into the predicament Iliana had faced just moments before. Even Iliana seemed unaware that victory had come so suddenly, the universe turning on its head in an instant.

Komer wore a sinister smile, quietly pushing his Spiritual Sense to the utmost to feel the changes occurring within the body before him.

At this time, Uma was clearly at a distinct disadvantage. With the support of a Light Heart, Iliana’s unchecked Holy Light Power ravaged like a whirlwind around his soul, sweeping away the Dark Force. Uma’s Dark Heart also began to fiercely resist the invasion of the Light Force. Yet, the Dark Heart, parasitic in nature and inherently a tier lower than the Light Heart—a host’s natural master—was at a disadvantage from the start. Moreover, the substantial upper hand he had held was now firmly restrained by Komer’s Light Binding, and he could only watch as his opponent confidently reclaimed lost ground, a sensation truly infuriating.

All was under control.

Komer, however, was like a cat silently watching for the mouse to stumble into the trap, quietly observing the changing situation. Iliana’s Light Force was not powerful, but the solidity of her original heart was somewhat troublesome, like a spring that continually generated Light Force. Even if her Light magic power was devoured by the Dark Origin, she could rise again as long as that point of Light Heart remained unextinguished. The current situation was clear proof, and Komer had been attempting to find a way to break his opponent.

Uma’s performance was commendable: despite the extremely disadvantageous circumstances, the Dark Origin still stood firm. However, Holy Light Power had already formed a vortex-like circulation within the body. If this situation continued, the destruction of the Dark Origin was just a matter of time. It seemed that it would take some more days to completely remove Iliana’s control over this body. Yet, for the sake of the fierce battle on the morrow, it was essential to reduce Iliana to her original form first.

His hands moved in a mysterious dance, and a succession of Dark Seals lifted into the air, stacking finally into a complete formation. The ink-like Dark Runes alternately disappeared and reappeared in the air, looping and winding before finally infusing into the top of Iliana’s body.

In an instant, Iliana’s body convulsed as if struck by lightning. A powerful Dark Curse suddenly and completely sealed the previously burgeoning Light Force. Meanwhile, as if the sky had turned, the Light Binding suddenly transformed into Dark Binding. Both Uma and Iliana were caught off guard by the abrupt turn of events.
