Chapter 588: Volume 15: Thunder Shakes the Ground - 6: Dedication
At that moment, Komer’s consciousness seemed to clear up a lot. He lifted Grace’s body and had her stand on the bed he used for meditation. The bewildered Grace didn’t even know where to place her hands and feet, and out of sheer embarrassment, she could only hold her burning cheeks with both hands, presenting herself before Komer with an elegant poise.
The quiet room was so silent that Grace, overwhelmed with shyness, peeked through the gaps between her fingers and saw Komer even take two steps back, standing before her, silently appraising her. His cool gaze held no lust at that moment, only admiration and infatuation, as if he were admiring a perfect piece of artwork.
Komer had indeed fallen for this body. The large amount of exercise had sculpted Grace’s body to be more symmetrically perfect than any other woman around him. Compared to her, Eve seemed slightly lean, Shatima was a touch voluptuous, Lome lacked a bit of healthiness, Finitz was more like a not yet fully matured green apple, and he hadn’t truly seen Vero’s body. Perhaps only the memory of Tracy could rival in the impression she made on him, but Komer knew it was only because she was his first love and the memory was overly beautiful in his mind.
Seeing Komer so enraptured, Grace couldn’t help but let out a whimper and gently begin to cry. It was only then that Komer, as if waking from a dream, walked over and took Grace into his arms, feeling her warm tears on his shoulder. Komer silently caressed her hair and smooth back.
He sighed softly. Looking around and not finding any suitable clothing, Komer could only casually pick up one of his own outer garments and drape it over her. "I’m sorry, I got a bit carried away."
"No, it’s not your fault, I am willing!" Perhaps after venting her emotions, Grace suddenly became resolute, lifting her tearful and hazy face up to Komer, "Komer, do you really like me? Do you like my body or me as a person?"
