The Vastness of Magical Destiny

Chapter 528: Volume 12: Magic Flame Burning Fiercely, - 19: Dolomites

"Brilliant! Baron Komer, you really raised my expectations after three days of absence." The carriage had already stopped in front of an official residence within the fortress, but Komer and Havier were so engrossed in their conversation that they did not notice. It was the crisp, clear voice coming from outside the carriage that brought Komer back from his reverie.

"Princess Dolomites?" Somewhat surprised, Komer pushed open the carriage door and jumped down, immediately noticing the Princess Dolomites on horseback, closely following his carriage. She no longer possessed the ladylike demeanor she once had in Cyprus.

Her delicate features and impeccable riding attire, the long legs firm and elastic within her riding breeches, could not be disguised. A violet cloak failed to conceal her heroic bearing, and Komer’s gaze even caught a glimpse of her curvaceous and well-defined bottom peeking out from under the cloak.

This somewhat un-noble-like gaze made Komer realize that after receiving the gift of virginity from Lome, his mindset had undergone a strange transformation. It felt as if some psychological barrier had suddenly been lifted, releasing desires that had been suppressed within him for years, tainting every action he took with the influence of this brand.

"I was wondering who the visitor to Tamber Fortress might be, and it turns out to be Baron Komer. Is Your Baroness visiting the Duchy of Rosenbourg? If so, I believe Thomas and I would be overjoyed." The girl lightly shifted her leg, handed her riding crop to the knight beside her, and dismounted.

"Haha, Lady, do you remember the promise I once made to Prince Thomas? I, Komer, am not one to speak empty words. The reason for my visit today is to fulfill that promise." Gently taking her delicate hand, Komer bestowed a standard nobleman’s courteous kiss. His eyes settled on the girl’s cheeks, made particularly rosy by her exertion, and his smile, bright as the sunshine, dissolved much of the girl’s bewilderment.

"A promise? What promise?" Princess Dolomites strained to recall every word she had spoken with this small aristocrat during their time in Cyprus, where his fate was unknown. In all honesty, aside from that magic crossbow case gift which had won Thomas’ favor, she could not think of any promises or agreements she or her brother had with the young noble.
