Using such pure light magic, even though not of particularly high level, was nearly impossible for a mage with dark attributes to perform due to the high degree of purity required of the light magic power—it was no wonder that the Slender Mage showed such a surprised expression when Komer commenced their contest with this move.
Although it was just a friendly bout, Komer knew that mages never went easy in these confrontations. Of course, they would not drive him to his death, but losing miserably was hard to avoid if one was defeated, and Komer did not want to lose too disgracefully in such a damaging contest.
Mihailovich’s face showed a thoughtful expression; it seemed that Lord, just as Rebry said, was indeed a hidden expert. If it were not for Rebry’s warning, Mihailovich would never have believed that his opponent could be a necromancer with considerable dark magic power.
