Amberser nodded and said, "Yes, so Hircine must want to catch something on me, something compelling I cannot reject, and then force me to go to The Abyss in person."
"Is this another bait you’re throwing out?" Goddess Tiamat asked.
"It’s not bait, it’s a wager," Amberser said very seriously. "Hircine is not a fool; he will understand my meaning. I tempt him with my vulnerability to make a move himself. He can gamble with me whether he takes the bait and gets caught, or if he consumes my bait and forces me into The Abyss."
