This was a bloated demon floating mid-air, with a gaping maw full of sharp teeth and numerous eyes of various sizes densely packed together.

This was an Eye Demon, sustaining its body afloat with immense Magic Power, resembling a purple-black decaying jellyfish bristling with tentacles. Among the myriad types of demons, Eye Demons were considered relatively intelligent, often mastering various magics and possessing wisdom beyond that of mortals.

But Eye Demons also had a particularly undesirable racial trait, which was that as they aged, each Eye Demon would come to believe they were the smartest of their kind and would resort to any methods to prove it, including but not limited to betraying their kin, setting traps, and assassination.

Thus, adult Eye Demons were often solitary.

However, even the most arrogant Eye Demon would worship the Mother of Eye Demon, obeying this Demon Lord’s commands without question.

The Eye Demon before them had an extremely high count of eyes and freely bending eye stalks like tentacles, having clearly lived many years, making it one of the high-ranking members of its race.

Maybe if thrown into another Plane, this Eye Demon might have easily committed mass slaughter, but in the presence of Dimogorgen, it could only tremble. Most of its hundreds of eyes were tightly shut, daring not to look the Devil King in the eye.
