Chapter 524 - 477: A Message for the Magic Dragon_3
This was Aige’s reply, and Amberser never worried that she wouldn’t help. However, setting the meeting place at sea was not easy; the whole world now knew the sea was Amberser’s territory, not only was the Emperor of Laine unwilling to come, but it also seemed likely that others invited would be reluctant to venture into the vast ocean.
But this was not a problem, in the worst case, they could simply arrange it by the sea, where Aige could still offer assistance.
It wasn’t enough to rely on Aige alone though, Amberser was more hopeful that the Poet and the Guild Leader would make a move, with these two, it should be stable.
Unfortunately, the Guild Leader gave no response, while the Poet simply replied with indifference, "I won’t get involved in this matter."
[Diga Ultraman: Elder, do you have any reservations? You seemed quite enthusiastic when we dealt with Shael before.]
[Poet: Trying to coax words out of me? It doesn’t matter if I tell you, the wager between the Dragon Pantheon and Lord of the Dawn hasn’t ended yet. If I interfere, it would mean joining the bet. But I don’t have the stakes to match, can’t afford to lose, nor am I qualified to win. So, I’m very sorry, but I cannot intervene. And it’s the same for the Guild Leader; we both have reasons we cannot act, so don’t count on us.]
Just as Amberser was feeling disappointed, another old patron appeared.
[Non-Vegetarian: Dealing with a Magic Dragon... Let me think, I remember someone from the Elegy Poetry Society participated in the Magic Dragon War years ago.]
This statement stunned Amberser. Weren’t all members of the Elegy Poetry Society accounted for?
The Mourners (the possibly deity Guild Leader), the Poet (the self-proclaimed non-deity vice Guild Leader), Mute (the ghost ship Aige), and Non-Vegetarian (Ghoul Yugas); these four were considered the older batch of members, all familiar with the Guild Leader.
Withered Rose, Pale Bone, Headless Bro, Love Vampire, and Amberser were newer members and so weren’t very familiar with the older patrons.
