Chapter 431 - 403: Dawn Sword
The swords of light rushed like a gust of wind and a downpour, completely overwhelming any chance of evasion with their expansive range.
This was Cyril Rolan’s signature move and his Legendary Grace. Do not be fooled by the small size of these light swords; their power was not to be underestimated. Even true steel would be deeply scored by these swords, and thinner metal armor would be effortlessly pierced.
If he could, Cyril Rolan really did not want to bully others with his Legendary Grace, but unfortunately his opponent was too strong, leaving him no choice but to play his trump card.
Before the battle, Cyril Rolan had been imbued with several magical states, and this sword rain-like move was sure to push back the opponent, possibly even inflicting serious injury on them.
However, just as Cyril Rolan thought he was holding the winning ticket, Arthur Laine made a simple gesture: he struck his sword at the ice beneath his feet.
The Holy Light condensed on the blade, turning the greatsword into a colossally long "giant sword."
The blade split the ice layer, turning large chunks of ice over to serve as Arthur’s shield.
The light swords struck the hefty ice, immediately shaving off large fragments. The wall of ice, several meters thick, did not last a few seconds before completely shattering, but Arthur Laine’s figure had already disappeared.
Cyril Rolan’s eyes darted about in search of Arthur in order to lock onto his position once again, but at that moment, a sharp pain shot through his foot, as a sword blade pierced up from beneath into his thigh.
It was the gap in his armor, the most vulnerable spot; the longsword penetrated the armor and buried into his flesh, causing Cyril Rolan so much pain that his body lost balance.
