Chapter 282 - 262: The Greatest Spoil of War
The Poet’s music had only five minutes, and once it stopped, those Goddesses would descend again.
Time was short, so Amberser directly summoned the Golden Throne, turning his Traceless Step into an ultra-long-distance teleportation, arriving at the tower gate in one second.
This tower was originally supposed to be protected by defensive magic, but as Tristan was ambushed and the Goddess Alliance destroyed, the Drow Elves inside decided to make a run for it. By the time Amberser arrived, the protective magic had already failed.
Amberser didn’t dare to linger and flew straight to the top floor.
As he neared, that music which could be termed as torture made Amberser’s soul shudder violently.
It was indeed the "Yin" music that could block out the thoughts of Deities. Amberser felt dizzy and wanted to flee the place immediately.
Fortunately, the Undead had no sense of hearing; "hearing" was entirely based on sensing with the soul. Therefore, Amberser reined in his perception and quickly ran to where the Rose Spider Queen was located.
At first glance, it was quite a sight, and it was good that he arrived quickly. The incision on the Rose Spider Queen’s abdomen had already healed by half, and any further delay might have resulted in a complete recovery.
Amberser was bold, flying to the side of the Rose Spider Queen and stuffing her directly into his personal space, then conveniently stuffed the unconscious Tristan, who had been stabbed by the Shael Daggers, into it as well.
After doing all this, Amberser left the tower at top speed and returned to the side of his comrades in the Elegy Poetry Society.
