Chapter 40: The Domain’s Final Challenge!
The blinding light flashed across the room as the massive implosion occurred, shockwaves ripping throughout the entire room. A massive amount of smoke shifted throughout the room due to the implosion.
Seconds shifted to minutes and the smoke slowly cleared, revealing the situation of the room. Blood was splattered across the walls, and various body parts could be seen casted across the room. The scent of blood filled the room, clouded Damon’s nose.
In the middle of the room, Vayne’s body lay, dead. Both of his arms were detatched from his body, his stomach was punctured, with many organs missing. His previously handsome, young face was now riddled with terrifying wounds that made him look closer to a monster than a handsome human.
Vayne looked like a shell of his former self. Damon himself was also extremely injured. Deep gashes all over his body leaking torrents of blood. Damon’s entire body felt intensely sore and weak, but thankfully he was regaining his power and regenerating at a intensely quick pace due to his <Primordial Eternal Heart.>
Damon looked at Vayne’s body, taking a deep breath and channeling his Mana.
"ARISE!" Damon’s voice sounded much heavier than usual, and echoed throughout the entire surrounding area that permeated the room as he channeled his power towards the dead Eternal King in an attempt to turn it into a Shadow Soldier.
~SHATTER!~
The surrounding space shattered like glass, an eternal darkness like a void appearing and surrounding Vayne’s dead body. An eerie aura swept the room out of nowhere, the entire room vibrating as the shattered space slowly fixed itself.
After a short while, the surrounding area calmed down, and Vayne, the Eternal King, was successfully revived as a Shadow Soldier. Compared to before, Vayne was taller than his previous size, a dark shadow cloak wrapped around his body and a slim, shadow armor beneath the cloak, protecting the Shadow Vayne, who had looked incredibly imposing and majestic, yet it let out a deadly aura as if saying no-one but Damon could touch it.
