Chapter 26: Desert of Death!
As Feyola had met the Crown Prince of the Eternal Human Empire Klaus and began travelling with him, Damon was currently facing a harsh battle as he moved towards the Southern Obsidian Moon Domain. It had been 1 day since Damon had left the Elven Empire and entered the Desert of Death, which was the necessary path that persons needed to take to arrive at the Domain.
"Elemental Grasp!" Damon’s voice sounded through the tyrannical raging sandstorm. One after another, different spells shot out. Firstly, green vines made of the Earth Element appeared and bound the attacking enemies. Then, chains of Darkness appeared, sapping out the strength of the opponent and weakening them. Finally, chains of lightning wrapped around the attacking enemy, zapping it constantly and leaving it’s skin charred.
Currently, Damon was battling against a horde of Sand Worms. Damon didn’t know why, but the second he had entered the Desert of Death, sworms upon sworms of Sand Worms and other monsters within the depths of the desert all charged at him, attacking him constantly. Damon felt as if the entirety of the Desert of Death’s monsters were focusing on him.
Strangely enough, Damon also felt like the monsters were seemingly running away from something.
"SUMMON!" Damon’s deep, annoyed voice echoed out and suddenly, his shadow expanded tremendously. The various shadow monsters that were held within his shadow silently appeared and immediately dove into battle.
The most noticable monster was Kaldr, the Shadow Elemental Fenrir that Damon had obtained. Kaldr sprung out of Damon’s shadow and leapt into danger, swiping his claws ferociosly and slicing an enemy Sand Scorpion into pieces, quickly shifting onto the next enemy and engaging in fierce battle.
"FREYA, PREP AN ATTACK, I’LL GROUP THEM!" Damon let out orders towards his other combat partner, Freya, who was his World Spirit.
Brilliant golden lights were currently radiating from Freya as she slashed an Eye of Golden Lightning, a tyrannical array of lightning strikes emitted from the eye and smashed into the attacking enemies, burning them to a crisp.
"On it!" Freya said after hearing Damon’s words.
