Chapter 12: A Battle for Survival!
At a Military Base Near the Immemorial Battle Forest!
Inside one of the monitoring rooms of the military base stood a flood of people. Neatly arranged in rows in front of computers, many logistical Demon military workers sat in their seats, doing their jobs with complete focus. The sounds of fingers tapping on keyboards echoed in the room.
In the middle of the room, two people stood. One of them is a tall male Demon with a terrifying mana pressure emitting from his body. His body was incredibly muscular and his face was completely focused.
The person next to him looked completely different. With white skin that didn’t look sickly and he had a graceful thin frame with stylish green hair and green eyes with pointed ears. The duo stood in the middle of the room as several screens were running live footage in front of them.
"How do these Assassins know the Young Master’s location?" The young boy, who is Killian, asked curiously.
"How else would they know Killian? Because I told them. I leaked some news that the Damon would be present in the Immemorial Battle Forest in hopes of drawing out some assassins." The tall male Demon, Karthus said,
"Mister Karthus, do you really think the Young Master can defeat these assassins? He is only recently awakened. And Young Master also has to worry about the various monsters in the forest." Killian asked.
"If anything goes wrong, we’ll swoop into save him. However, if the son of those two monsters can’t even overcome this, he doesn’t deserve to be trained by me." Karthus said with a determined expression as he gazed fiercly at the screen.
Killian looking at this simply sighed and turned back, gazing at the screen and hoping his young master could overcome these challenges.

Damon looked at the assassins who had completely surrounded him. Damon could tell there was at least a dozen assassins, yet his face betrayed no emotions, as his face was completely void of any expression.
