"Come on, have a seat. Remember, you still have to brainstorm ideas so you won’t have to resort to stick figures. Forget about that trash," Eira said as she led Malia back to her seat and sat her down.
At her words, Malia glared at her, making Eira laugh. "Don’t worry, I was just kidding. There’s still time to decide on a theme."
As soon as she finished talking, they all heard Orla’s calm voice. "Don’t worry, I already decided on a theme." Then, she turned to Malia. "What do you think of Emotions?"
"Emotions?" Malia echoed, her brows knitting together in confusion.
Orla nodded, speaking slowly. "Yes, Emotions and Human Experience. Our theme will be Faces of Emotions—portraits that express a range of feelings."
"Ohh, I get it..." Malia nodded thoughtfully. Then, as if struck by inspiration, she spun toward her sister with an excessive smile. "That’s brilliant, Orla! You’re a genius!"
Eira also smiled, "It’s a fantastic idea. Right, Cyran?" She turned toward him, but the sight of his earphones in and his focused expression made her sigh.
"Never mind. So...who’s going to draw everything?"
Malia immediately pointed to Orla. "Her."
"Obviously," Orla replied dryly.
"Of course! I mean, I have zero artistic talent," Malia declared, jabbing both thumbs at herself before forming a dramatic X with her fingers. "None. That’s all you."
