Chapter 11: Our first date
The next hour, Evelyn found herself inside of a small cafe shop face-to-face with a very irritated-looking V who just kept staring down at her phone.
"Emm, V is e-everything ok? You seem kinda ... angry d-did I do something bad?"
Vs previously burning eyes softened a bit as she let out a small sigh before turning her attention towards the girl with a soft smile.
"Sorry, I’m just a bit stressed right now, that’s all. There are some things going on right now that just ... don’t sit well with me."
Evelyn’s ears perked up as her mind was flooded with thoughts.
’Maybe I can help her relax somehow? Y-Yeah, a-after all, I’m her girlfriend, right? T-That is w-what c-couples do for one another! S-Should I propose the gym thing ... or do I just take her out somewhere fun, o-or’
or-’
"Are you alright, Eve?"
Evelyn snapped back to reality as she was met with the purple gaze of her girlfriend.
"Huh, what?"
V let out a small laugh as her previous sour expression had been completely replaced by her usual radiant smile.
