Chapter 8: A battle for love
(I’m really sorry I seemed to publish this Chapter yesterday with a lot of prior text missing, but now it should be all in place. Once again sorry for this little blunder of mine ... :D)
Eve’s eyes slowly opened as she let out a soft yawn, her hand reaching for the phone, checking the time.
"... Wow"
Looking out of her window, she saw the sun already setting, with a radiant red light shining on the horizon.
"Did we just ... sleep through the whole day?"
With that said, she put her phone away and rolled onto the opposite side of the bed, where she saw the still sleeping V with a peaceful smile on her face.
"Hehe, her sleeping face is really cute."
With a gentle smile on her lips, Eve reached towards the girl’s face, brushing her bangs aside. Her hand slowly caressed her cheek, a soft, contented sigh escaping from her lips, her eyes closing, her lips pressing against her forehead. As the peaceful atmosphere was broken by a loud grumbling sound coming from her stomach.
"Ugggh, right, I haven’t eaten anything in like... I dont even know."
Eve groaned, her hands pushing her off the bed.
"Hmm, well, guess I will just have to whip something up."
