Chapter 94: Kai VS Dante
Kai was flung into the other side of the room, crashing into the wall, which created a small crater from the impact. He didn’t let that slow him down as the moment he connected with the wall, he threw his blades into Dante’s shoulders, pulling the vampire into the air, and blasted him with his heat vision.
"Haha! An amazing ability! You’re making my blood boil in excitement!" Dante yelled as he transformed into dozens of bats.
Kai followed him, flying around the room while shooting his laser vision to kill all of the bats, hoping it would kill Dante.
But the vampire was quick. The bats split off into multiple directions, giving Kai multiple targets. Then, in his blind spot, the bats reemerged behind Kai, and Dante appeared, wrapping a blood whip around his neck, slamming him into the ground.
Forming a blood spear, Dante aimed it at Kai’s throat, but Kai quickly launched himself backward, kicking the vampire in the gut while doing a flip to land back on his feet.
He then teleported behind Dante and blasted him with a fireball.
’Let’s get creative.’ Kai clasped his hands, and hundreds of water balls pooled into the air. Then, they started crackling with lightning, and their shapes turned into needles.
’Because of my X-Ray vision, I can see the path of mana in his body. If I can block those paths, his mana should stop working.’ Extending his hand forward, the electrified water needles flew toward Dante.
"Your skills are most impressive! I haven’t had a battle this amazing in decades!" Dante avoided the needles, dodging when he needed and blocking them with his blood spear when they came too close.
Kai’s blade slammed into the ground behind Dante, but he morphed into bats to avoid the attack.
"Oh no, you don’t!" A large gust of wind blew the bats into the wall, forcing Dante to shift back into his humanoid state, and Kai threw his other blade into the man’s shoulder, whipping the chain while sending an electrical current through it.
"AGGHHHHGH!!!" Dante screamed as he was being electrocuted.
