Chapter 57: Back in Highgrove Village
*Cough* *Cough* "What the hell was that?" Annabeth pushed a wall off her and fanned the dust out of her face.
"My bad, that will be me." Kai coughed as he got out of the rubble. "I didn’t expect the entire place to blow up."
"You did that?"
"Ahem, yeah, I did. I’m honestly not used to using my full strength, so my power just went crazy, haha."
"Woah, that’s amazing. I knew you were powerful after healing me, but to think you were strong enough to casually wipe them all out, that’s impressive."
Kai smiled. "Thanks, I try."
She dusted the dirt and rubble off her pants. "So, how are we going to meet up with Lady Tyria and your friend?"
"Oh, that’s easy." Kai lay down on his back. "You’re gonna need to ride me." He said with a straight face.
"Wha....What?! What did you say?!" Annabeth stumbled backward, blushing hard as she looked down at Kai.
"I said you’re gonna have to-"
"I KNOW WHAT YOU SAID!" She took a deep breath. "But why, though? You can teleport, right? Can’t you teleport us somewhere?"
