Chapter 38: The Mayor
"You said you’ll solve this WITHOUT bloodshed!" The desk worker yelled
"These guys are irrelevant. It’s the Mayor’s son who isn’t. I made sure not to beat him up like I did the others." Kai responded
"Sigh! Fine, you’re right. I’ll take these nine into custody while you handle the meeting with the Mayor."
Kai had told the man that he could get the Mayor to punish his son. At first, he didn’t believe Kai, so Kai hypnotized him to make things easier.
"Let’s go, time to meet your father."

"Do you think we’ll get in trouble?" Gwen asked as they approached the Mayor’s mansion with his son in ’custody’.
"Don’t worry, everything will be fine." Kai reassured her.
At the gate, two guards stood at attention, spears planted on the ground, and when they saw Kai and Gwen approaching, they crossed spears, forming an X to block the entrance.
"Halt! State your purpose for coming here." A guard demanded.
"Help!" The mayor’s son shouted.
