Chapter 33: Quest grinding
The map feature he received was truly something only a god could have given him, given its immense usefulness. Not only was it a map containing locations of the entire world, but it also had a search feature.
As long as whatever he was looking for existed in the world naturally, he could type it into the search feature, and the map would lead him to it while showing multiple locations.
This feature wasn’t perfect, though. It couldn’t search for things that were man-made. So if he wanted to look for an ancient weapon, he would need to look for the material the weapon was made out of and hope to find it.
It also couldn’t search for people. While people were a natural product of the world, they technically are man-made since they’re born from, well, other people. It’s weird, but Kai just went with it.
Needless to say, finding the herbs he was looking for was a walk in the park.
"Pfft, I’ll be done with these F-rank requests in no time." Gathering up the herbs he needed, with a little bit extra for himself, he headed back to the Adventurers Guild.
"Oh, you’re back. Had a hard time finding the herbs? We offer a map to help in your quest. I forgot to give you one earlier, my apologies." The receptionist bowed to show her sincerity.
"Nah, it’s okay, I got everything the quest asked for." He took out a bag filled with herbs and handed it to her.
"Yeah, a lot of first timers...W-What? It’s only been an hour." She looked at him wide-eyed
