Chapter 20: Tyler’s Plans
At the dining table, Tyler took his seat and started eating.
As he ate, he noticed his mom looking at him strangely, and he couldn’t help but ask her what the problem was.
"I was curious about what you were doing in your room all day. Do you mind telling me?" She asked.
"Yeah... I was working on something important," Tyler replied.
He looked at him mom and saw her looking at him like she’s waiting for him to finish.
"Sure, mom. I will tell you but after dinner," Tyler said slowly, sighing internally.
He knew that with how curious his mom was, there was no way he will escape not telling her what he’s been up to.
Understanding this, he decided that he would also tell her about his suspension. He had wanted to wait till tomorrow, as the official letter had been yet to be delivered, but he decided that it would be better if she heard it from him first.
With his understanding of his mother’s character from his previous life, she would definitely understand if he explains to her what happened.
"Ok. If you say so," Helena said, and continued eating her food.
Few minutes later, they all were done with dinner. Tyler and Devin took care of the dishes, while their mom went up to freshen up and get changed.
