An hour before Andrew approached Kaine, he was deep in thought.
‘Hmm, something feels off.’
Indeed, from the Emperor’s reaction to asking everyone except the Saintesses and Kaine’s handmaids to leave, everything seemed out of place. Andrew glanced around, noticing that the nobles were returning to their assigned rooms.
‘They’re all heading back to their rooms.’
As expected, the nobles were following the Emperor’s instructions. Andrew, who had been contemplating in front of the audience chamber, was approached by Eileen.
“What are you doing here?” Eileen asked, her expressionless face drawing closer.
Andrew, a local noble, smiled warmly and replied, “Oh, I was just thinking. My apologies.”
“In that case, it would be best for you to return to your room as well. If you stay here, you might not like what happens next,” Eileen said, and then she disappeared from sight with Skaya and Jenny.
Andrew narrowed his eyes at the sight of them.
