After several days of travel, they finally reached a small town.
The carriage stopped at the entrance of the town, and Shen Wu got out to scout around before coming back to report.

Settling in the town, Su Yan also bought a new set of men’s robes to wear, removing the black ink from her face and discarding that ugly, dark image, instantly becoming gracefully elegant.
She thought that this transformed appearance would surely dazzle Shen Wu and then he would regret ever saying she was not beautiful.
