Lu Yi’s words gravely infuriated Pei Yansi, making him frown deeply, his intense eyes like a seething ocean under a tornado.
"Step aside." Pei Yansi ordered coldly, having not seen Shen Heyu for several days, his longing almost bursting forth.
"I’m telling you, I won’t let her get hurt by you. This is Chen Wenzhou and Lu Yunlan’s wedding ceremony. I advise you not to make trouble here. In a while, we’ll be going to your engagement banquet."
"I heard that if it weren’t for Miss Chen’s recent accident and the shock she suffered, the one getting engaged today would have been you."
Lu Yi’s words seemed like a veiled provocation to Pei Yansi, who scowled even more heavily and slowly clenched his fists with a creak.
