She had just finished speaking when she heard a man’s deep, magnetic voice from behind her ask, "Who told you we were divorced?" Yun Duo was startled, turning around in disbelief and fear, only to see Pei Yansi standing at the doorway of the lounge.

He was tilting his head slightly, seemingly watching this side leisurely.

He didn’t say anything though, his gaze resting on Shen Heyu without giving Yun Duo a glance, as if he didn’t care about what she had just said.

Yun Duo quickly stood up, not daring to stay any longer and hurriedly left.

However, as soon as she reached the doorway of the lounge, Pei Yansi slightly lifted his chin and said, "Our wedding is set for next month, and there’s been no infidelity. Don’t talk nonsense."

Yun Duo looked at him in surprise, uttering an "ah."

Pei Yansi squinted his eyes. He knew Yun Duo was someone in the department who loved to gossip, but he had never fired her for it since this hadn’t caused any tangible losses to the company.

And in a dull company, there always had to be a few who enjoyed gossip to lighten up the dreary work atmosphere.
