Davey almost felt that someone or something was subtly egging him on. However, it wasn’t the same kind of overwhelming force that had tried to suppress him back when the authority of the Predatory Assimilation went berserk. It was instead something far more insidious, something that made him believe that everything he felt was natural, his own.
If not for Goddess Freyja slapping him, he might not have noticed it at all.
The strangest part was just how natural it all felt.

Davey was the only one who could protect her if something went wrong.
However, locating her was another issue.
