Chapter 1131
“Meow.”
The angel cat flapped its snow-white wings and burrowed into Perserque's stomach, curling up around the sleeping child’s home as if to keep them warm.
Davey glared at it. “Hey. Bluefin. I'm telling you nicely. Get down.”
Of course, cats weren’t the kind of creatures that listened to commands from anyone. Bluefin burrowed even deeper into her arms and let out an exaggerated yawn, as if to show off.
Aside from appearance, it wasn’t all that different from a regular cat.
“Davey, are you seriously jealous of a baby right now?” Perserque scolded him, but that wasn’t what mattered to him.
“A baby? Don’t be ridiculous. An angel cat that’s five years old is already a full-grown adult. I told you, that thing's rotten to the core. It’s a dirty one.”
“Come now, how could you say that about such an adorable little thing?” When she gently scratched Bluefin’s throat, it purred contentedly and snuggled even more warmly against her stomach.
“Whether it's a house cat or an angel cat, it’s good to see that their instinct to co-parent even someone else’s baby hasn’t changed.”
Bluefin, her lazy spoiled pet, was especially fond of her. That said, it wasn’t the type to lash out at others without reason, so Davey didn’t exactly hate it for its affection either.
“Davey.”
“Hmm?”
