Madam Li chuckled and set the item in her hand down, pulling Daohua to sit beside her on the couch: "Of course. Every time your two uncles visit the capital, they always bring us lots of gifts. I’ve told them not to, but they never listen."
Daohua smiled: "It’s their goodwill. Since they’re offering, just accept them and send back something nice as a gesture in return."
Madam Li nodded with a smile: "That’s the only way. By the way, did you need something from your Uncle?"
Daohua shook her head: "There were too many people earlier, I haven’t had the chance to speak with Uncle yet. I just thought I’d come to pay my respects."
Madam Li laughed: "Your Fourth Brother dragged him away. That Fourth Brother of yours, already a father of four children, still acts as loud and boisterous as he did when he was a kid. He has little restraint."
Daohua chuckled: "Isn’t he home now? No matter how old he gets, in the family, he’s still just a child to his parents."
