After Daozi and Xiao Moreng returned, both had a look of lingering excitement on their faces.
"Mother, the horse ranch in Ganzhou is so large, with so many fine horses. Dad even took me and fourth brother hunting. Unfortunately, I wasn’t strong enough to catch anything, but fourth brother caught a rabbit, and we also ate roasted rabbit," Daozi said.
Upon learning that the horse ranch was built by Xiao Yeyang, Daozi felt immensely proud.
"Mother, father is truly amazing. Fourth brother said that with the new military forts and the fortified border wall, the northern tribes won’t be able to attack us anymore," Daozi added.
"Mother, I want to be as capable and impressive as Dad in the future," Daozi stated.
Daozi energetically shared his experiences with Daohua and Gu Jian along the way.
Xiao Moreng was also deeply moved by the visit to Xiliang. Initially, he wasn’t keen on it as he felt it interfered with his studies, but after arriving, he realized it was the right decision.
Just the experiences his uncle showed him in the past month alone had greatly broadened his horizons.
