Chapter 97: The End
’I really want to kick his ass. I should find a reason as soon as I meet him. I mean, not only did he leave me to clean up his mess, but he woke up right after I was done. It’s clear provocation.’
I thought while looking at the green-dressed men arriving at my place.
"You really hate that guy," Toph commented. "Not that you really know him."
"I don’t hate him. I just don’t like him," I replied.
"So, you’re hateful because?" she narrowed her eyebrow.
"’Cause he let me deal with everything when I should be relaxing," I replied as I closed my eyes.
There was a time when I was weak.
I had to get stronger, face a whole squad of the Fire Nation on my own in my hometown. I had to go to the Earth Kingdom and hunt stronger beasts daily while clinging to the trees. I had to run sometimes just to fight another day while staying sleep-deprived. And I had to invent two new types of bending while training a whole squad of prisoners to stop the Fire Nation.
And what was the Avatar doing?
Taking a nap.
"He’s just pissed because he had been looking for him and had to swim a lot. The weather in the South Pole is no joke," Katara commented.
