Throne of the Ghost Emperor (Danny Phantom X Naruto)

Chapter 36

Shalltear leaned back in her chair, her red eyes glowing as she perused the stack of papers before her, each filled with details on Danny Fenton and his family. Emma Frost, standing nearby, watched her mistress with a pleased smile, her eyes glinting with a mixture of admiration and anticipation.

"Wonderful, Emma," Shalltear said softly, her voice smooth and laced with affection. She gestured for Emma to come closer, her hand gently brushing Emma's cheek before cupping the back of her head. "Your quick actions deserve a reward."

Emma's smile widened as she leaned into the touch, feeling a sense of satisfaction at her mistress's approval. But then, in one swift motion, Shalltear pulled her close and kissed her deeply. The kiss, laced with an aphrodisiacal effect, was not just a display of affection but a weapon, a way to bind Emma further to her will. Emma's body convulsed slightly as the effect took hold, her pleasure overwhelming her, leaving her momentarily breathless and weak in Shalltear's grasp.

As the kiss ended, Shalltear let go of Emma with a satisfied smirk, watching her servant catch her breath. "You always were so responsive," Shalltear murmured, running her fingers lightly across Emma's flushed skin.

Emma's knees wobbled slightly, but she regained her composure quickly, her eyes half-lidded with a lingering haze of pleasure. "I live to serve you, Mistress," she replied with a tone of devotion, her voice still thick from the kiss.

Shalltear shifted her attention back to the papers, though her thoughts were still on the strange human she was reading about. "Now, let's see what's so special about this Danny Fenton," she muttered to herself. "How did a human possess the strength of a fledgling vampire—or even a werewolf? He doesn't feel like those mutants. There's something different about him. What could he be?"

Her fingers lightly traced over the pages as she scanned the information again. Danny's powers, his odd abilities, and his connection to entities far beyond his years were all too intriguing. She had sensed something in him when she first heard his name. Now, with more knowledge at hand, Shalltear could feel the stirrings of curiosity mingling with her thirst for power. There was no denying that the boy was an anomaly.

Her thoughts turned briefly to the hunt, to the chaos unfolding outside her mansion. Though she often found herself consumed with strategies and plotting, there was something immensely satisfying about watching others struggle—especially if they were playing directly into her hands.

With a small, amused smile, Shalltear closed the file. "This hunt will be interesting, I believe," she whispered, her eyes narrowing as she thought about the next move in her carefully laid plans. The pieces were falling into place.
