Throne of the Ghost Emperor (Danny Phantom X Naruto)

Chapter 12

After a much-needed soak in the bath and a feast that could rival a ravenous beast, Danny retreated to his room. The hours ticked by as he poured over his studies, immersing himself in the knowledge Naruto had urged him to master. He didn't stop until exhaustion began to creep in, only to remind himself of what was next: the dreaded sparring session.

This wasn't just practice—it was an ordeal.

Danny remembered the previous session where he had barely managed to survive ten battles against Naruto. Tonight, that number had been multiplied tenfold. One hundred battles. The sheer number made Danny's stomach churn, but there was no backing out now.

From the first clash, Danny knew Naruto wasn't holding back. Each battle was a new torment as Naruto employed different styles, strategies, and techniques. Danny was forced to adapt, to think on his feet, and to push beyond his limits. He felt like a toy being repeatedly broken and pieced back together.

But amidst the chaos, something shifted.

Danny began to notice patterns—subtle tells in Naruto's movements. The way his mentor shifted his weight, the flicker of his eyes before an attack, the rhythm of his strikes. Slowly, pain transformed into a lesson. His focus sharpened, and he started anticipating moves before they happened.

By the time he fell in the hundredth battle, every muscle in his body screamed, but his mind felt alive. His pain tolerance had grown, and the fear that once gripped him during a fight had faded.

Danny opened his eyes, expecting to see the familiar training ground, but instead, he found himself somewhere completely different.

He was shorter—much shorter. Looking down at his hands, he realized they were small and childlike. His body felt light, agile, and full of boundless energy.

"Master was really short," Danny muttered to himself with a small grin as he took in the sight of his new surroundings. Towering trees stretched high above, their canopies creating a mosaic of light and shadow. The air was thick with the scent of earth and foliage, and the faint rustle of leaves hinted at the life hidden within the forest.

Danny felt his new body moving instinctively through the underbrush, weaving between trees with precision and speed. His movements were fluid, almost automatic, as though he had done this a thousand times before.
