Throne of the Ghost Emperor (Danny Phantom X Naruto)

Chapter 1

Danny Fenton's day started like any other, in the shadow of his family's eccentricity. The only thing that seemed to change was the level of ridicule that came with it. His parents, the ever-persistent ghost hunters, had already created enough chaos in his life to ensure he'd never be seen as "normal" again. But today felt different. Today, he wasn't just the kid with the weird parents; today, he was the target.

It started with Dash, as it always did. The jock had an unrelenting need to make others feel small, and Danny, with his shy demeanor and self-conscious nature, was the perfect punching bag. As Danny made his way across the cafeteria, trying to ignore the whispers and giggles, he had hoped for a moment of peace. But peace was something that always eluded him.

"Hey Fenton, Catch!" Dash's voice boomed from behind.

Before Danny could even process the words, a pastry collided with his face. It was the kind of humiliation that, in a twisted way, Danny had become accustomed to. The sweet, sticky substance of chocolate cream covered his face, and the instant impact sent a wave of shame through him. The laughter that followed was nothing new, but it still felt like a hundred knives stabbing into his chest.

Danny stood frozen, his body trembling. His heart raced with the same old anxiety. His parents' ghost-hunting antics had made him an easy target for mockery. He was always "the freak" in the eyes of his peers, and today, Dash and the others had just reinforced that label.

The laughter grew louder, and with every chuckle that echoed through the room, Danny's resolve weakened. He wanted to scream, to retaliate, but his body refused to move. His mouth was dry, his hands trembling. There was no way to fight back against this. Not in front of everyone. Not when they were all watching.

"Nice shot, Fenton!" Dash's voice cracked through the haze of laughter, and he made some snide comment about ghost hunters and how "Fenton" was probably too scared to even handle a simple pastry.

But then, for a brief moment, the laughter stopped. Danny stood there, covered in chocolate, his body shaking in embarrassment. But that pause didn't last long, and the laughter picked up again, louder than before. People whispered amongst themselves, exchanging jokes about his parents and his apparent inability to escape their shadow.

Danny's vision blurred, his mind clouding with thoughts of escape. Escape from the pain. Escape from the ridicule. He couldn't stand it anymore. He needed to get out. The cafeteria felt suffocating, every eye in the room a reminder that he was nothing more than a target. His appetite was gone, and his desire to stay was nonexistent.

Without a word, Danny turned and hurried out of the cafeteria, leaving the laughter behind him. He didn't look back, not even when he heard the faint sound of his friends calling his name. He didn't want to drag them into this. Not today. Not again. They didn't deserve to get hurt because of him.

He just wanted to be left alone. To hide somewhere far away from the stares, the whispers, the judgment. Maybe if he was lucky, he could forget for a moment that he was a walking joke in the eyes of everyone around him.
