Chapter 16: Against the Stolks (3)
Dominic waved his sword circularly and positioned himself for more attacks. His mind raced. Since he had seen and fought the Stolks he had not seen them speak. If they could not speak how did Coris think she could make them talk?
"System can the Stolks talk? They have probably not spoken since I met them. Even if they have not to my hearing." Dominic asked curiously.
[Yes but the lower class can't speak. Only the ranks above A rank can speak.]
Dominic thought for a while. If only ranks above A rank and within could talk, then the commander of this troop would be an A rank or above. He sighed and stepped backwards in time to dodge the attack of a Stolk.
"Dominic you have to be careful. We are surrounded by too many Stolks. If we make a mistake we could get killed. I want you by my side. You have to be protected." Alice called out. Dominic stared at her in shock.
Did he still look weak in her eyes? After all he had portrayed? He smirked. It was time to use his abilities. First he would start with her own copied ability.
"Engage Silent Slay." Dominic whispered. Suddenly, he felt a new found intense energy around him. He smiled.
He walked towards a swarm of Stolks. He unsheathed his sword and ran towards them with great speed. Then he suddenly shifted in the air and got behind them.
He had enhanced Ghost Walk. He smiled lightly. He then waved his sword expertly and slashed it through four Stolks. The cut pierced in and he cleaved it through their body leaving them half chopped off.
